Kari Blizzard - Promoted to Director of Wellspring South

Crittenton Services is proud to announce the promotion of Kari M. Blizzard, MA, NCC, LPC to the position of director of the southern division of Wellspring Family Services, the agency’s community-based counseling service. The position is newly created and reflects the agency’s commitment to expanded services throughout the West Virginia. Blizzard will oversee the Morgantown and Huntington offices, which serve clients in a 13-county area.

 

Blizzard joined the agency as a therapist in the Morgantown office in 2011 and was promoted to the site director in 2012. Blizzard earned a master’s degree in forensic psychology and in clinical counseling from Marymount University in 2006.  She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University in 2002.

 

“Kari is dedicated to making Wellspring’s counseling services a welcoming and accessible experience for clients,” says Crittenton president and CEO, Kathy F. Szafran. “She has the leadership skills to support her staff as they meet client needs in the office, in homes, and through the telehealth platform. We are fortunate to have her on our team.”

 

Crittenton Services, Inc. offers a continuum of behavioral health care. The residential program on the Wheeling campus provides two levels of residential behavioral health care for girls and young women. Wellspring Family Services, the agency’s community-based behavioral health division, provides care in 22 counties, with offices in Wheeling, Weirton, New Martinsville, Morgantown, and Huntington. Crittenton is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) for highest standards of professional practice.
